Tim Blount Named Vice President of Human Resources and Compliance
FORT SMITH, AR (March 8, 2007) - EagleOne, a transportation and logistics solutions provider headquartered in Fort Smith, Ark., has named Tim Blount vice president of human resources and compliance, according to President of EagleOne Greg Hasley.
“Tim’s knowledge and experience in managing human resources are invaluable, and we’re excited to have him as a member of our executive management team,” said Hasley. “Our employees continue to provide first class customer service to our clients as our company continues to grow. Tim’s role is crucial in further developing our employee relations, benefit programs, and the overall quality of life at EagleOne.”
Blount will maintain the administration of more than 450 independent contract drivers and vehicle federal regulations for EagleOne. He also will oversee liability coverage and protection of the corporation as well as manage the human resources and working relations of more than 130 employees. Blount has more than 20 years of experience in employee development, performance management and leadership. He spent 13 years with Whirlpool Corporation in Fort Smith, Ark., where he was safety supervisor and manager of human resources. Prior to working with Whirlpool Corporation, he was a safety engineer for Texas Instruments, Inc., in Dallas, Texas, and also worked with the City of Plano, Texas, as a loss control specialist. Blount has a Master’s of Science in Safety Management from Central Missouri State University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Safety Engineering from Northeastern State University. He previously served on the Employers Health Coalition’s board of directors.
